December 1, 2005 I ordered the plans

December 9, 2005 I took the plunge and ORDERED my RV-7a Empennage, Wings and Tools

December 9, 2005 Alex and I started building our Airplane Factory

December 14, 2005 got an E-mail from Van's Aircraft, my Empennage kit has been shipped! :)

December 15, 2005  The TOOLS are here, lots of tools, you gotta have da tools

December 15, 2005 I started working on the PRACTICE KIT, better to screw it up not the RV

December 17, 2005 The FEDEX guy delivered my Empennage kit.  " IT BEGINS "

December 17,18,19 2005 inventory the empennage kit

December 19, 2005 I started on the Empennage, The Horizontal Stabilizer is First

December 30, 2005 Holiday time off, I got the Horizontal stabilizer completed

December 31, 2005 New Years eve I started the Vertical Stabilizer

January 6, 2006 The Vertical Stabilizer is done

January 7, 2006 I started the Rudder

January 26, 2006 The Rudder is done

January 29, 2006 I started the Elevators, building both Left and Right plus the Trim tab..

February 28, 2006 Wings kit is delivered

February 28 thru March 10, inventory the wings kit, lots and lots of parts

April 2, 2006 I got my first Technical Counselor inspection from Kurt Rommel, Looks good so far!

April 24, 2006 after some difficult challenges with the Left Elevator and Trim tab, is now done

April 24, 2006 The Empennage is complete...
